2014 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque – Mechanic Special – Runs & Drives – Clean Title
Selling a 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque with approximately 153,000 miles. The vehicle starts, runs, drives, and shifts. It is being sold AS-IS with a clean title.
I want to be completely transparent about the vehicle's condition.
A mechanic recently scanned the vehicle and found the following diagnostic trouble codes:
I have not paid for a full diagnostic, so I do not know the exact cause of these codes. The mechanic found evidence that squirrels had been under the hood (stored nuts) and mentioned it's possible a damaged hose, vacuum line, or wiring could be contributing to the P0299 code rather than the turbocharger itself, but this has not been confirmed.
Before my father passed away, he believed the vehicle simply needed a tune-up. Tune-up parts were purchased based on his recommendation, and they will be included with the sale.
The vehicle has been sitting for several months, so the brake rotors have developed surface rust and the brakes currently make some noise. Buyers should expect to perform their own inspection and determine what repairs, if any, are needed.
